Homeschoolers are welcome! We are registered vendors at the Ocean Grove Charter School.
We teach Digital Art, Game Development and Animation to kids starting age 6. We have different experimental educational programs that are inclusive to a wide range of students of different age groups and skill levels; from young beginners to post graduates and video game professionals.

Our school teaches Digital Art, Game Development and Animation to kids starting age 6. We have developed unique experimental educational programs that are inclusive to a wide range of students of different age groups and skill levels.
Our program promotes use of logic and concepts of math in a fun and comprehensive way as well as promoting overall computer operation skills such as: typing, saving and file management and organization.
Students will learn fundamentals of video game development and practice creation of content for games and game design.
Digital Monkey School developed a unique proprietary program that includes coding, game design, principles of animation, 3D modelling and digital painting.
Students build their own 3D Adventure, unique player character, items and powerups. Students learn to program custom behaviors, events, triggers and game rules. Visual scripting, digital painting, principles of animation and 3d modeling will be introduced. This program is perfect for complete beginners and experienced video game enthusiasts.
Students learn how to apply traditional painting and illustration techniques through means of computer, using stylus and tablet.
Multiple painting and drawing techniques are taught to create digital painting directly on the computer through use of various brushes and paint effects. Students learn how to use Adobe Photoshop through creating individual projects: digital paintings, illustrations and collages; and Adobe Illustrator to create graphic design projects such as logos, postcards and posters.

Students create artwork and put it together in an animated movie. Various animation techniques are taught in this class as well as animation theory and history
TuIn this fun and lively class students are introduced to the key concepts of fine art. Students aretaught academic painting and drawing through various techniques and exercises.
Emphasis is placed on developing skills and pursuing an imaginative and personal approach.

Have lots of fun while learning game design, coding, 3D modeling, animation and digital painting in our unique and friendly game design program!
This class is a wonderful opportunity for students of all levels to learn basics of assembling and developing computer games.
Students learn 3D modeling and animation, build their custom player character, items, and powerups, program custom behaviors, events, triggers, and game rules. In this class children will use their creativity and imagination and will develop their three dimensional perception, cognitive skills, and fine motor skills.
Our program promotes use of logic and concepts of math in a fun and comprehensive way as well as promoting overall computer operation skills: typing, saving and file management and organization. Digital Monkey School uses a unique proprietary technology. This program is perfect for complete beginners as well as experienced video game enthusiasts. Our classes are small, 6-10 students only. Each student has their own work station.

Assignments will be connected and themed based on classic children’s literature, fairy tales and rhymes. Students will learn different art techniques, as well as principles of constructing creative art work that includes art appreciation, color theory, principles of composition and perspective. This class will help to bring in child’s creative potential, give basic ideas about form and shape, train hand-eye coordination.

During classes students are modeling various dimensional scenes. Assignments could be based on fairytales, cartoons, poems or personal student ideas. Children are actively participating in a process of creating fun stories. Our classes help kids to manifest themselves in a creative process and teach them to analyze the size and shape dymentially and build the comprehension of proportions.

We understand the challenges of maintaining and improving Russian language with your kids. Our program is designed for the bilingual students. In this playful and fun class kids get introduced to Russian literature, read and recite poems and stories, exercise writing and reading skills. Phonetic techniques and correct pronunciation will be taught
Greg is a founder of Digital Monkey School, and is serving as a director of Visual and Computer Arts department. He is teaching most of game development classes.
Greg is a founder of Digital Monkey School. Greg began his work in game industry back in 1995. Greg’s formal education is in Fine Art and Stop Motion 3D Animation.
Throughout his career Greg worked at variety of different companies including Animation Studios, TV stations, Game Development Studios, and FX and CG Production Studios. Greg has been Faculty at the Academy of Arts University, teaching such courses as Art direction for Video Games, History of Video Games, Introduction to Video Game Development, Art for Video Games, Level Design and Video Games Prototyping.
Ola is Digital Monkey School Creative Director, she is teaching Digital Painting and Game Development Classes. Ola started her career doing set design at the Animation Studio on Television in Moscow, Russia.
She then graduated Saint Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts in Russia with BFA in Set Design in 1996 and Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, with BFA in Graphic Design in 2003. Ola worked in graphic design from 1996, also doing illustration and layout for magazines.
